This page describes the privacy practices of the Tree Removal Cost Calculator browser extension, published by Birmingham Tree Care Pros.
In short: this extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, browsing activity, or user input. All calculations happen locally inside the extension popup on your own device and are never sent anywhere.
What the extension does
The extension lets you select a tree's height, whether stump removal is needed, and whether the job is an emergency. It uses these selections to calculate and display an estimated price. That's its only function.
Data we collect
None. The extension does not collect or transmit any of the following:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.)
- Location or IP address data
- Browsing history or activity on other websites
- Authentication information, such as passwords
- Financial or payment information
- Any content from the pages you visit
Your selections inside the calculator (tree height, stump removal, emergency status) stay entirely within the popup and are discarded when you close it. Nothing is saved, logged, or sent to a server.
Permissions
The extension requests no browser permissions. It cannot read or modify the pages you visit, access your tabs, or see your browsing history.
Network requests
The only outbound request the extension makes is to Google Fonts, to load the typeface used in the popup's interface. This request does not include any personal or identifying information about you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the extension adds a feature that uses data — this page will be updated and the new version will be reflected in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
